Testimonials

Leeds Irish Health and Homes

I recently commissioned Karen for one of my clients Leeds Irish Health and Homes. They were running an Irish Afternoon Tea Dance to celebrate International Day of Older People and having seen Karen's work online, I knew her style was absolutely perfect for capturing the atmosphere of the day. Karen provided a totally professional and creative experience from start to finish: responding positively to our brief of what we wanted to capture, blending in effortlessly with people attending the event and being sensitive to people who may not want to be photographed to delivery of some immediate shots in time for a next day media release. I would not hesitate to recommend Karen's photography services and will definitely be booking her for future events.

Zest Health for Life

Karen has over the past year taken photographs at events that I have organised. She is always very friendly but never intrusive for instance she accompanied a group of very disabled older people and a team from Lloyds banking. The photos were amazing capturing people young and old laughing and talking without them knowing she was there. Her love of people is evident in her natural warm manner that instantly puts people at ease and in return produces the most amazing photos. Children are happy and natural around her and again the photos show this. Personally I have loved having her around she is always interested in the work, and my monitoring always looks good because of the very special photos that she has taken.

I find Karen to be a very friendly enthusiastic photographer; nothing seems too much for Karen when attending one of our charity events. As a charity, we work in communities in deprived areas, Karen's photographs seem to capture the mood of the event and the people brilliantly and the photos she produces are amazing!

The work you have done for us at Zest is fantastic and personally I feel it really captures people at their most interesting. I can see from your work that you clearly love people, what makes them tick and what makes them unique. You seem to have an ability to anticipate people which means you are able to capture things that would otherwise be missed. You are approachable, personable and keen. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to use you and your talents and will continue to do so and promote you to others.
